Challenge met
Filanc delivered the Zone 5 Booster Pump Station for EPCOR using a design-build delivery method in partnership with Greeley and Hansen, who provided design services from preliminary design through final design. The project included construction of a new building to house electrical control systems and an onsite chlorine generation system, along with installation of four vertical turbine pumps and a hydropneumatic tank.
Filanc also completed a full electrical, instrumentation and control system replacement and performed site improvements that support long-term facility operations. Careful planning and detailed maintenance of plant operations procedures allowed construction activities to proceed while maintaining uninterrupted service. The completed booster pump station strengthens the community’s water infrastructure while ensuring reliable service for Verrado residents.
