Challenge met
Filanc completed the rehabilitation through a Job Order Contract and provided preconstruction services including constructability reviews, cost modeling and value engineering to align the project scope with the City’s budget. The work included rehabilitation of the existing well along with installation of a new well pump and discharge piping.
Additional improvements included demolition of one steel storage tank and rehabilitation of another, replacement of the booster pump station and installation of a new chlorine disinfection system. Filanc also replaced all site electrical and control systems and completed grading, landscaping and irrigation improvements. The upgraded infrastructure supports long-term operations and strengthens the City of Peoria’s water system.
